"HARRY BARFIELD."
"Harry Barfield was a Royal navy officer who - sadly - was killed when a shell exploded by accident in a gun turret of his ship in 1910. But fate smiled on the young man and despite his injuries and death, he found that he had been revived by the skilled and quick-thinking ship's surgeon. Recovering in the naval hospital in London Harry found that he had acquired an incredible gift - or curse - in that he could see and speak with the dead!
Harry wasn't very happy about this at first, but finally accepted his fate when he meets up with Professor Herbert Gladstone and his young assistant Miss Maude Layton. The professor persuades Harry to use his talent to investigate the supernatural, paranormal and strange happenings that abound the country. Some of his assignments prove to be not only interesting but bloody dangerous!"

Barfield receives a desperate young woman in his home office who recounts a
tale of mystery, supernatural events and murder! She states that she is to
marry a wealthy English aristocrat but first, she would like Harry to rid her
of a difficult problem which could alter her future happiness; a persistent and
apparently angry poltergeist!”
EPISODE 2: SATAN'S SANATORIUM.
"Harry and his little team are heading to the wilds of North Yorkshire and the long derelict "Tabbert's Sanatorium" to investigate some strange happenings that have been reported at the site. The new owners which to turn the place into a luxury health resort for the wealthy but are having their plans apparently thwarted by some angry earth-bound spirits!
EPISODE 3: THE SEANCE AT SALEM HOUSE.
"When the medium Mrs. Gladys Roebuck holds a seance at the old Salem House for the wealthy Fuller family, she finds that she has visitors who are not that friendly and have been dead for a very long time! In desperation Harry and the team are summoned to help and find there's more to the old house and it's past that the Fuller family will admit."
EPISODE 4: HAREM.
"Harry and the team are in Constantinople [capital of the Ottoman Empire at the time] as the guests of the deputy Prime-Minister who has a problem in his Harem: it's plagued by ghosts and strange happenings! But there is more to this 'simple' ghost infestation than meets the eye and Harry finds that the great European powers all have an interest in the ailing old Empire. The case becomes very dangerous indeed."
EPISODE 5: THE PIRATE QUEEN.
"The team are attacked by pirates whilst travelling to Egypt for a mission and find that the notorious 'Pirate Queen' of the African coast has an unhealthy interest in Harry and his team. And she's not a woman to be messed with or refuse her 'requests'. Harry finds that his investigating the strange case of the vanishing prince and the ghost city of Noah, lost for centuries in the desert and ripe with tales of strange happening and - of course - hidden gold!"
EPISODE 6: THE FORBIDDEN TOMB OF ANEBOS.
"Harry and the team are in Egypt to assist some archaeologists who have uncovered a lost tomb that has lain untouched for nearly five thousand years. The tomb of the 'priest/prophet' Anebos holds an incredible secret that if revealed, could get the archaeologists murdered [and unhappily, Harry's team too!] So, Harry has to proceed with care and finds there are dangerous religious fanatics everywhere. He also has to deal with a spirit guard that will do anything to protect its master."
EPISODE 7: LOST.
